I think it will make about as much light as a 4 watt incandescent
nightlight for 1.2-1.5 or whatever watts. It should last longer. The
package does come with a caution statement advising not to run unattended
or year round, but that may be some general Christmas light warning to
relieve the manufacturer from liability should one ever burn down a house
once in the world's history of usage of their product. I would not leave
any light running unattended anywhere near combustibles in case it fails
with a spark, and I have heard even of cheaply made incandescents having
some awfully spectacular (thankfully rare) failures (bulbs popping off
their bases) due to the current surge drawn by a "burnout arc".
However, "low end ultrabright" LEDs are only about as efficient as
medium wattage incandescents are. "High end" red, orange, and green LEDs
are now about 2-2.5 times as efficient as incandescents and "high end"
white LEDs are about 1.5 times as efficient as incandescents.
For energy efficiency, compact fluorescents do better than LEDs do,
especially for light that is not colored.
I have a web page explaining why LEDs can be so much more efficient than
incandescents for indicator lights and traffic lights, and get so much
longer battery life than incandescents get in flashlights, yet are not
much more efficient than incandescents for ordinary room lighting:
