As you have probably heard, Federal courts have blocked implementation of
the National Do-Not-Call List administered by the Federal Communications
Commission of the United States. This is due to massive legal expenditures
by the telemarketing industry's special interest organizations, chiefly the
Direct Marketing Association. The DMA and its president, H. Robert
Weintzen, apparently think that even a person who does not wish to receive
calls should have to receive them anyway.
In the spirit of Mr. Weintzen's beliefs, I am posting the mailing address
and telephone number for his personal residence in Manhattan's exclusive
Upper East Side neighborhood. He should have no objection to receiving your
calls on this issue and listening patiently to your viewpoints.
