No kidding. For the longest time I used a black magic marker and covered the bar code (which is the same for everyone). Then I figured if they saw that it was covered they would not open the letter and get the confetti to spill all over the place so now I don't even bother covering it. So what if they know who it came from. What are they going to do, sue me for sending junk mail to them? Some of them also print the address you are sending it to on the back of your application so the only way to send it back is to put the application with your name in the envelope. I get around that by carefully cutting out their address with a scissors and taping it inside the envelope so it appears in the cutout that shows where it is addressed to.
