I Ordered a Nokia phone on a vodafone contract on wednesday afternoon at
1425hrs,
I ordered via the phone so as to check stock in real time as i wanted the
phone next day ( as per there website, order before 1600hrs for next day
delivery)
bearing this in mind the sales chap took the order, he then checked stock
( a few clicks on the keyboard could be heard) and yes they had the fone in
stock, gave him my credit card details ( click, click ) all sorted, I was
told I would have the Phone the very next day, but in extreme case's this
might be the day after if there were any hold up's, but somebody would ring
me and let me know, which was no problem or so I thought. ( I have checked
my C/card and it was debited the wednesday)
Nothing had arrived next day (thursday) by 1400hrs so i e-mailed them just
to find out if it had been sent ( requested a read receipt ) e-mail was read
at 1427hrs, then nothing. no e-mail or phone call.
I waited till next day ( friday ) and e-mailed them again but this time I
sent it to every department, Read receipt came back, all e-mails read at
between 1427hrs - 1429hrs, then 20 min's later I get a phone call from a
chap called Martin saying "sorry for the delay I don't know why you haven't
received it, the phone is sitting here all packaged ready to go, I will get
it sorted now and it WILL be with you tomorrow ( saturday ).
I replied "what is the probibility percentage of me getting it tomorrow" he
said 95% saturday but 100% monday Guarenteed..
Whaheyyyyy I thought at last I will be getting my shinnig new phone..
I rang them This morning (saturday ) to get a tracking number, as I was
going out I didn't want to miss the driver so thought I would double check
on delivery today, and guess what..The bloody thing still hasn't been sent.
and you can guess what the excuse was " Umm Ummm I'm sorry Mr ***** the
Phone is still here"
I then asked why it was still there when Martin said he was then sorting it
yesterday,
I was greeted by 20 seconds of silence ( I Thought the phone had gone dead )
I could then hear a click, click of somebody typing, after a few more
seconds the chap decided to talk again ( after I prompted him with a few
Hello's and a is there anybody there) and to make matters worst, they don't
even know why its there..
So I told them to stuff it & refund my C/Card
onestopphoneshop !! What a joke
