in an amplifier, there is a V amp followed by a Current Amp.
The power supply is usually split in +V and -V
I have a sudden doubt: Here is my question: the amplitude of the signal
after the V amplification should be about the toal supply or half ? I mean
if i supply with +-32Volts, the signal coming out of my Vamplifier should
read +-16 volts or +-32 ?
This is to make a hybrid with some tube Vamplification followed by Mosfet
Second question: a Mosfet can accept how much V on its Gate ? is it about
the power supply or much less ? i noticed on some schematics that there is a
zener diode of about 15 Volts on the gate to protect it. In this case, is
the Voutput limited to +-15Volts ?
I must say I am a bit lost there...
Thanks for your help
