Let's see- you can't use the VCCS by itself because this is a linear
element. You have to interpose something between your VCCS and sense
voltage, and this something outputs one of two discrete voltage levels
for input to the VCCS. Now what could that something be that inputs a
continuum of analog sense voltage and switches between one of two
discrete output voltages- I wonder.
