I have done many simulation with SwitcherCAD and so I am
curious to see your circuit.
Can you provide me your SwitcherCAD .asc file ?
Here you have my NDA (non disclosure agreement) if necessary.
Probably the problem is in the circuit, e.g. models
of your transistors, and not in the simulator.
There are sometimes real bad converging models. I remember
a filter circuit with OPamp-model from another vendor(not LT)
which fails consistently with more than 3 Opamps. I solved
that problem with a another model of the same OPamp which
was written ten years earlier.
