Thanks again to all who have responded.
I did try to unpot a Cessna device and it does not use any resettable fuses or
relays. I'm going to use such a circuit in an explosive/gas environment, not an
airplane but the Cessna device is the only I've found that will serve the
as it has NO relays and doesn't trip a circuit breaker like the clam shell type
which would cause an explosion. The Cessna type simply quits supplying
voltagle during an over-voltage condition and must be reset manually by
removing the input voltage. Sorry I didn't mention all this in my original
I just can't believe that the Cessna aircraft circuit is that hard to find as
small enough to fit in a 3/4 metal copper pipe that's about 3 1/2 inches long.
It does use a SCR or TRIAC but I couldn't read the value on the one that
