On the PIC12x devices, there is only one port (with 6 pins) and it is
called GPIO. So, "IF GPIO.4=1" is a conditional based on the state of
IO pin 4. BTW, I figured out what the problem was. I had not set the
control registers than configure the pins as analog or digital, and I
had not turned off the comparator or the A/D converter. The PIC12F675
has about a dozen special control registers for it's onboard analog
features, and they have to be properly set or your pins may not be
connected to what you think they are! Everything works fine now.
