I read in sci.electronics.design that Barry E Porter
wrote (in <firstname.lastname@example.org

I'm ahead of you - 11 October is my P-day. I DON'T CARE! And that's
nothing to do with the fact that I just now received a party invite from
a 30-year old blonde who makes your socks steam when you see her.(;-)
>BTW, did those transistor thingys ever catch on????
A bit, but it didn't last. We now have buggy-legged things with black
bodies. Some of them are too small to see - anything less than DIP-8.
BTW, do you remember sending me some Linkwitz-Riley filter pcbs, some
time in the previous millennium? Well, after mucho problemo with the
6-channel power amplifier, the completed 2-channel tri-amping filter is
now up and running and the owner is very pleased with it. More to the
point, perhaps, his friends like it, too.
Of course, I had to let him set up the amp gains: I can't hear well
enough to do it.
