Check out these URL's;
There are surplus DC motors available sometimes from American Science and
Surplus or other surplus companies,at reasonable prices. Also All
Electronics.Also Google search for electric vehicles for more info.
I have been using a Street Jammer for more than a year,fun to ride,but
kinda slow,especially up slight grades.IIRC,there is a commercial vesion of
the Razor with a NiCd battery pack and motor,like you propose to make.
Sharper Image carried it,IIRC.
