I got it from a former colleague who's is working in the field
proffesional audio and hearing aids. It's part of his job to stay
informed about the latest developments. I've found him quite capable
of separating the audiophile BS from real information.

:-) Don't get me wrong here, but I'm providing information to the best
of my knowledge; at least I believe it's accurate. What the readers of
this newsgroup do with that information is up to them... If someone
takes the time and corrects me, okay I'm wrong and learned something.
If I'm right hopefully someone else learned something.
I don't want to prove anything, start endless discussions or start
using foul language; takes me too much time I can spend with my kids
and it doesn't get me anywhere.
