My humble thanks to everyone for the many received responses.

An epiphany occurred shortly my receiving a note with the question,
"Do you mean Spice2 or Spice3?" The problem was not with a .subckt .
There is a VCVS in the model for an LMC6001A.. and the syntax for a
VCVS changed between Spice2 and Spice3.

I will download this and look on Thursday.

I have a few demo versions.. think I missed Beige Bag. Something else
to look at on Thursday.
My local technical bookstore (a Micro Center) has some books on Spice.
However, the ones in stock deal with Spice2 syntax. I will shortly
run a search through Amazon and see whats available for Spice3.
Anyone have a favorite reference?
