The XCSB structured BASIC for the PIC now directly supports IEEE 754 32 bit
You can now freely mix floating point variables and constants with integer
variables and constants in expressions. There is no need to use special
functions or arrange to place the floating point numbers in special
variables. It is all taken care of by the compiler.
Floating point support is also provided at the assembler level giving fast
and convenient access to function parameters and local and global high level
variables at the assembler level. This allows the assembler programmer to
very easily interface high level statements to low level hand crafted
functions and also for low level assembler functions to call high level XCSB
Floating point support is now also available in the XCSIM simulator which
also knows about high level variables and source code (low level simulator
with low/high level source code debug capabilities)
