I read in sci.electronics.design that Gibbo
wrote (in <firstname.lastname@example.org>) about '95/54/EC
- Automotive Directive', on Wed, 23 Oct 2002:

The latest information that I have seen is that there are no plans to
alter it in the short term - i.e. several years.

BSI does have an aggressive pricing policy. It does now sell stuff
that's also available free from other sources. I and others have
protested, but to no effect. BSI Standards doesn't make a large surplus.

This one, unfortunately.
How do you suggest paying for the administration of standards
development other than by charging for the products? Remember that
committee members are paid by their employers or sponsors, not BSI.
