Of course. Skin effect with aluminium foil is not to be ignored,
but I assumed everybody knew that. The OP can do a little experiment
first, roll out one entire roll of foil, on the floor, and simply
measure the voltage relative to earth. The higher this voltage, the
more results he will have putting it up the wall etc. 100% result
will be hard to obtain, but 97-98% is reasonably easy to achieve.
