0.6mm isn't very wide at all, that's less than 25mil. I would say that's
only good for a couple of hundred milliamps max...
I'd just go with a flood fill of ground on one side of the board and power
on the other side. If you're designing a multilayer board this changes of
Then the use of vias to reach ground or power makes the sizing of traces
less important, if you use correctly sized vias.
For a single sided board, things become much harder. I'd primarily worry
about routing the power trace, and then again flood fill (removing dead
areas of course) with ground copper. Rearranging signal traces to give you
nice wide channels joining copper fills.
