Did I forget to mention? There are many (possibly most) text books in
differential geometry that mention general relativity in passing if at
all. In particular, the text book by David Lovelock and Hanno Rund has
virtually no relativity in it even though both of them were researchers
in the field of GR at the time they published the book.
