It is not wise to push these things near and past their design limits....
while you can fool around and maybe get a very small increase, you will
DECREASE the life of the components due to heat & stress and when (not if)
it does fail you will risk damaging any equipment you have hooked to it.
Spend your money more wisely on a higher wattage inverter...... as you
indicated they are quite cheap so why screw around with it and risk blowing
it up and your equipment that is powered by it.
