Your best plan is to go back to square one, find some elderly tutors who
have had some genuine industrial experience and start again ! Otherwise you
will never make an honest engineering living out of it. You are most likely
to end up as being a full-of-guilt confidence trickser, like far too many
others in this educationally deficient age.
Believe me. I mean well. Sorry to be so pessimestic.
If you can't multiply 9 by 7 in your head without thinking about it then you
should consider applying for a job teaching 5-year olds to read and write.
