Some units may not use hardware handshake - have you tried XON/XOFF? What
does the datalogger actually use?
If you have a programming package at hand (such as even VB) you could whip
something up pretty quickly, but I use HYPERTERMINAL at work to grab data
coming out of a telephone exchange and have never missed data, so there
shouldn't be a problem IMHO.
