Hmm....in the old days (!) we used these to descramble Satellite TV...until
the built-in memory cudnīt handle all the keys anymore. I still have a HB
programmer that takes COP cards, but I really dunno if I still have any data
on its use...even have a couple of COP cards and maybe also a couple of COP
ICs here :-) collecting dust. Problem with them was that the control program
in the COP for descrambling was never released, as opposed to widespread PIC
control program, so COP cards died long before they shud.
Tip: Check the newsgroups alt.satellite.tv and ....tv.crypt for info.
Besides all the whackos and the kids asking for new keys/management keys on
these groups, there are a few cool guys that might help you out.
