I don't blame you one bit! I usually make gender changers / adapters
with a single color. It was handy when i worked in a factory to walk to
the wire room and tell the woman that I needed 25 pieces of #24 wire six
inches long, with a pin crimped on one or both ends, and that it didn't
matter what color she used. A few minutes later I could pick them up
and finish my fixture. Now, I have to do all my own, and it is easier
to pull one reel of wire to work with, than find space on the bench for
a dozen reels.
