Just remember, "Stay away from the RED buttons!" "Stay away from the
RED buttons!" "Stay away from the RED buttons!" "Stay away from the RED
buttons!" ::) (four eyes! I wear glasses.)
BTW, when I was about 13 I would build little boxes about 3" X 3" X
3" covered on the four sides with two pieces of aluminum foil.
Inside was a "D" cell, a small coil wound with several hundred turns
of AWG 30 magnet wire on a piece of iron core 1/4" square and 2" long.
The coil was hooked to the two foils, one end went to the negative
battery terminal, and the positive terminal went to a crude switch made
from a nail, electrical tape and a couple staples. The top of the box
said, "Do not touch" in bright red letters.
It was fun to watch people try to pick it up when they though no one
was looking. The squeals, shrieks, shouting, and cursing when they got
shocked was worth having to build another when someone would throw it
across the room or jump up and down on it.
