You'll need to keep the interference away from the radio (as in using
a better inverter with more shielding and filtering), or the radio
away from the inteference (as you did locating it remotely). You MAY
get lucky with turning the radio to null the inteference. Sounds like
locating the radio away from the inverter has the most promise. If
you run the speaker leads literally underground, and provide some
filtering on them on both ends where the come out of the ground, I
think you have a good chance keeping them from acting like an antenna
and transmitting the hash to the radio. You may be able to acomplish
that without actually burying the speaker line, but at least put it on
the ground, and add RF chokes at each end.
Another way to do it is to feed the radio's audio output into an FM
modulator and "broadcast" it to your cabin.
Yet another possibility is to use a radio that accepts an external
antenna, and put up an antenna a ways away from the interference
souce, but that's not guaranteed to work and can be a hassle.
There may be some other ways to skin the cat...
