I was actually hired for a task once, where the owner of the company
said they picked me because I *was* the highest bidder, by an enormous
ratio, so they figured I must know what I was doing ;-)
I bid $35/hour (this was a *very* long time ago), the next bidder
below me bid $10/hour!
