Huh.. How do you read race into this ? This is a photography forum.. Black
and white has a very specific meaning here.
The war ended at the end of the 40's.
Before that time, movies were mostly black and white.. TV was all black and
white and photography was primarily black and white. Anything visually
recorded from the pre war era was (almost without fail).. black and white..
