Hell yes! I got a dollar once from the tooth fairy. I'll believe in
anyone who gives me money to believe in them.

So it's a compact antenna that works as well as a whip. How small we
don't know. However a quarter wavelength whip for 2.4 GHz is rather small on
its own. Ever seen a "patch" antenna for a GPS receiver? They're small but
work better than a whip because of their omnidirectional characteristics.
