Well, not 'they' but just one - P Pilate, who, in an otherwise rather
praiseworthy career made the wrong decision on the BIG one. It was a big
one, whatever your opinion on the divinity of Jesus; he was certainly a
great teacher. I wonder what would have happened if Pilate had released
him. Would Caiaphas have had him murdered anyway?
I'm not going to venture into the question of resurrection; that's a
whole lot too delicate.
