I guess I got a little worked up. Not a good idea.
I watch Big Brother on Channel4 that we pick up here in Ireland from our
next door neighbour, the UK.
I enjoy BB and as far as I know the show runs in the US as well. I'm not
very good at analysing action as it happens live in the BB house but I have
figured out the following. My advice to anyone about to enter the BB house
is never to express anger something perhaps along the lines I did in this
thread. When a housemate expresses anger as distinct from just feeling it
they will be nominated immediately and then evicted by the public vote. So I
took the bait so to speak and I can live with that but I could have been
very much more restrained with the some of the words I used. I know fierce
debates erupt in this newsgroup from time to time but it's head to head. The
effects of adrenaline are never present in these debates.
This is a shining example of how great a newsgroup can be like some other
groups covering topics like Visual Basic and Visual C++. I just hope I
didn't cause any upset or alienated my friends.
