FWIW, I said nothing about being mild and merciful. The Bible says, "Be ye
therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
Of course, that's only one short phrase. There are 66 books in the
protestant Bible. The Roman Catholic version has even more. There's a lot
