Yes, I *really* do.

Forgive my inerudition. I'm not familiar with Pascal's Wager so I can't
tell you anything about it. I have no problem with multiple faiths. I just
happen to believe the way I do. Others are free to believe whatever they
choose. However, truth (whatever it actually is) is not variable. Either
the God I worship is or He isn't. He either has those traits which I
believe He has or He doesn't. I have a faith strong enough to rest securely
in my beliefs, but I'm not arrogant enough to insist I'm 100% right and all
others are wrong. That's where we diverge, friend. I can accept the
possibility that I'm wrong even though I have seen and heard much evidence
to support what I believe.
As to damage, I can only tell you that faith in Him has done more good for
me than anything and everything else I've experienced in my life. I don't
claim to be a very good example of a Christian. Technically speaking,
anyone who does, by definition isn't... :) But I know that my life is much
better now that I know Him.

Actually, that would be one rose -- the Rose of Sharon -- and the aroma is
better than anything one could ever dream.

Wishing you a happy solstice and a merry Christmas, too. :^)
