Only one problem, at frequencies suggested, if they are indeed in MHZ. These
are in the frequency band allocated to local services, fire departments,
ambulance services, etc. Therefore, unless you have specific licensing for
the operation of radio communications at these specific frequencies, you
will be in violation of FCC and CFA regulations. With proper certification
from the appropriate offices the rest will be academic, you will be able to
order commercial equipment pre-tuned and designated to operate at those
preset frequencies and channels. The reception of these frequencies, if for
your own enjoyment, not for personal or corporate gain, is allowed under FCC
and CFA regulations. However, for you to transmitt on these frequencies
mandates proper licensing.
