**I had always assumed that it was Prisoner Of His/Her Majesty. Those of us
Anglo descended, Australian born folk, are referred to as 'Skips' (from the
TV show - Skippy, the Bush Kangaroo), by anyone who was either not born in
Australia, of those whose roots lie in other lands. The term was coined (I
believe) by the Greek community, here in Australia.
You can refer to me/us as a 'Skip', if you wish.
