For non-linear analogue functions and circuitry, the *best* book I've ever
ever come across is Analog Devices' 1976 "Non-linear circuits handbook"(ISBN
0-916550-01-X). Second best is the Burr-Brown (Texas now?) 1976 "Function
circuits, Design and applications"(ISBN 0-07-071570-X). Fascinating reads!
