Apart from the "tradicional" scientific presentations (oral communications
and posters), APHYS2003 will include also "Projects Presentations" and Call
for Partners presentations, specially for European Projects, which will
bring to the Conference to really International and muldisciplinar research
teams doing applied research very close to industry.
Accepted papers dealing with the following topics will be published in
one/two special issues of Microelectronics Journal (Elsevier). Papers will
be strictly reviewed and treated as regular papers, of course taking into
account their conference nature.
Topics for Microelectronics Journal
Materials growth science: technology and techniques, Physics, properties and
characterisation of materials systems, Devices and microsystems technology:
production and manufacturing, Advanced lithography for submicron devices and
VLSI microlithography, Nanoelectronics and nanoprecision instrumentation,
Technology and applications of magnetic materials, Molecular engineering:
molecular materials and self-assembly processes, amd Quantum computing).
Devices covered include semiconductor devices, optoelectronic devices,
micromachined devices, nanodevices and hybrid devices. Papers covering the
associated materials, physics, properties, fabrication and manufacturing of
these devices are also welcomed.
(original) Papers dealing with other topics will be reviewed for
publicantion in other special issues (see the Conference website for
We hope you find it interesting to present your research and/or to search
for partners in APHYS-2003.
