Thanks for the reply but I do not belive the 8250 pertans to the type
only the PT2014B does! (I may be wrong).
I have tried looking the number up in the semiconductor refs I have at
the moment but there is no mention of this number.
I could really do with a data sheet for the original, its from a TV
