I'm neither belligerent, grouchy nor an antipodean. (Well partially), I
can claim to be truly a mongrel. My fathers side dates back to the first
convict ship carrying Irish 'criminals' here, and was later diluted by
some Pom, and a smidgin of aboriginal. My mothers side traces back to
Sir Francis Bacons wife (side of bacon?), and includes large slices of
French royalty, some german, Scottish and a hint of Welsh. I have a
relative who is a US supreme court judge, or was, and one who is/was a
Canadian politician (the shameful side of the family). I grew up mostly
in Asia and Germany. Confused? You bet I am.
Enjoy the rest of the hols.
