Naaaah! A friend had a rural mailbox on a wood post at the edge of
the road. Vandals kept knocking it down with their pickup trucks.
Solution: Drill out center of wood post with a lathe, insert 4"
thick-wall steel pipe, set it in 24" of concrete.
They hit it one more time... end of problem ;-)
