I know we look at graduates form only certain universities. Each
division/site has a list of schools they cultivate for grads.
It's much harder to get hired from other than those schools. I
was quite amazed one time when we found that more than half of
the engineers in my department came from the same university,
about 1K miles away.
OTOH, two years out of school, the university doesn't matter
much. The degree is just a check-box item. It's experience that
