Hi everyone,
Does anyone have a schematic diagram for a 3 watt booster for a cell
phone (800 mhz only)?
I have a low power cell phone and live in a fringe area and a little
boost on transmit would be a big help.
I know I can make a transmitter amp easily enough and a receive preamp
should be fairly easy....but the full duplex operation presents a
problem since there is no transmit/receive relay due to the very
nature of the cell phone.
Do they use an electronically tunable duplexer to isolate the rx and
tx signals and prevent desense of the receiver when the transmitter
kicks in?
I see some horrifically expensive amps on the market, but they are
devoid of technical specs, don't come with schematics and I would like
to aviod them if possible. Nokia just pretends they don't exist (as
does my cell phone supplier):>:
We only have 800 mhz in our area, so I do not need to worry about
interfacing 1900 mhz rx and tx hardware to an 800 mhz design.
Thanks all.
