I read in sci.electronics.design that Fred Bloggs
wrote (in <3E17246E.email@example.com>) about 'Breathalyzer Ignition
Interlocks - Big Brother at his best!', on Sat, 4 Jan 2003:

Well, it COULD happen. People do the most stupid things.
But there are also *real* accidents. I was driving at 30 mph (no,
really, I was approaching a junction to turn sharply) along a road when
a motorcyclist coming the other way collapsed, bike and all, and slid
along the road towards me. I could stop before hitting him, but in fact
he hit me while my car was stationary!
We found that it was impossible *even to stand upright* on his side of
the road because it was covered in diesel fuel. Luckily, there was none
on my side, otherwise it would probably have been a fatal accident.
