The *circuit* will have a higher current level if I increase the
voltage with a fixed load...exactly what I need for the discharger.
If a single cell can't push 100A through the circuit, a higher voltage
(2 or more cells in series) *can*.

What basic rules?
Destructive testing is part of the testing process for thousands of
components/systems and is the reason UL Laboratories exists...to do
just those kind of tests (amongst others).
The limits of a component/system cannot be determined without this
type of testing. It can be *estimated*, but not confirmed.
We need to know. You certainly don't have to help us if it goes
against your design/test philosophy.
>>> What you need is a bigger battery pack.
Yes!! We'd LOVE to be able to have more batteries. But we can't have
them do to a variety of reasons detailed in my previous posts.
We need to know what these cells can do at various current levels so
we can run them as hard as we need to without destroying them.
We also need to know at what levels they will self-destruct so we can
know in advance if we will exceed those levels if we choose to (to win
a fight, etc.).
