It's no great problem to design a stepper/ encoder feedback control
system - anything that will output phased pulses, any encoder input
device (HCTL20xx). The big problem is what to do wih the feedback. You
can't just put in a voltage (very roughly speed) gain as in a servo
system - if you throw thousands of steps suddenly at a stepper, it just

still going, so he can implement a recovery strategy in case of error.
