Because it's a big country, there is inertia, and when you have a large
domestic population to do business with, you don't feel so compelled to
accommodate other continents. It's the same reason people in large
neighborhoods in Queens, New York, speak only Spanish. If all the shop
owners are Spanish-speaking then there is no big incentive to change.
So you might as well ask why they are so different from the people in

Don't worry about that. Anti-Americanism is more than just criticism,
