I've found with the newest free reader that it has an automatic check for
updates - the latest 'update' actually won't work! (OS=W2k). Have had it
happen on three machines when they've opened .PDF's and I've stupidly hit
the "OK" button to update (duh - should have learnt after one time but you
don't notice till after next reboot).
