Brian and Bob are up there with Neville in the ranks of the good guys.
Brian is as good as Neville in getting his subject across to non-
experts. Have you read his book, 'An introduction to the psychology of
hearing'; the third edition is ISBN 0-120505623-0 or ...624-9? Bob is a
bit more mystical but is very sound.
