Except at low RPM's multi-firing *can* improve the burn. (Comment
based on experiments on Ford V8's in the early '70's... I designed a
special CD-type ignition to accomplish the task. Ford ultimately
decided it wasn't worth the cost... it cost $1.50 instead of the usual
