Message-ID: <email@example.com> Heroes of fire fighting! The brave, the honest, the proud protectors of Americans and their values. Cast your vote, make your opinion heard on the requested disability pensions of two Omaha Fire Division Captains. 1). A former Omaha, Nebraska Fire Captain who was indicted by the federal government in 1990 for being a part of a ring of drug dealers responsible for distributing 55 pounds of cocaine in the Omaha area is requesting his disability pension be increased from a partial disability to a full disability. This man, whose name can be found on the Internet at www.omaha.com, was indicted in 1990 and subsequently convicted of purchasing quanitities of cocaine in amounts ranging from one quarter to a full pound. Before he was sent to federal prison, this man requested and obtained a partial disability pension under the guise of a fire service related injury. His pension was estimated to be 33% of his pension as a Captain with the Omaha Fire Gangsters (Division). Now, believing this convicted criminal and major narcotics trafficker whose last name is Johnson, is requesting his disability pension be increased as he suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD he claims resulted from his fire service from nearly fifteen years ago, not the sexual assaults committed on him by the inmates he ratted out also serving time in the federal prison system. Should this man be granted his full disabiltiy pension despite being a convicted drug trafficker, excon, and his injuries claimed being suffered fifteen years in the past? I don't believe they gave this animal his job back after being convicted of cocaine trafficking and being a member of a organized drug ring. Should he have been granted a disability pension between the time he was indicted and convicted in the first place? Is this common practice outside the city of Omaha or is it just an Omaha Fire Gangster thing? 2) An Omaha, Nebraska fire Captain claims she can no longer work as a result of her being harassed by her fellow fire fighters while on duty. The woman is black, and she claims she was subjected to harassment at the hands of her fellow fire fighters although she has not named the men involved and no disciplinary action against them has been taken or is even planned. She has requested before the Omaha, Nebraska Police/Fire Pension Board several times to be granted a full disability pension and denied. Now she has been granted by this same board a partial disability pension although she still has not named who abused her to cause this disorder and requests her entire monthly pay as an Omaha Fire Captain for her pension, which is just under $6,000.00 a month. Should she get the pension? Should she be forced to identify her abusers so they can be removed from the Omaha Fire Division as criminals and/or liabilities to the city? Cast your votes, heroes.
