I'm watching now the scenes from the explosion in Baghdad (just one more explosion in the perpetual chain of explosions)
on CNN. I also remember the wonderful web site, announced here a day or two ago, www.nationofhate.us
They are right, very right, those guys at the nationofhate.us . Our allmighty Government keeps screwing up one thing
after another and yet most Americans keep worshiping it, no matter what. Earlier today I saw a TV report from the funeral of one local US soldier, killed in Iraq,
when his helicopter was shot down. He was called a hero, who made an ultimate sacrifice (a cliche well overused and abused by journalists).
He did not offer any sacrifice, he was just murdered for no good cause at all. We've invaded Iraq, a country that has never incaded the US, and converted it
from a country with no terrorists into the country swarming with terrorists. We claimwe came to Iraq to establish there democracy, but two of the most democratic
countries in the region: Iran and Syria are actually our most profound adversaries, while all the tyranic totalitarian monarchies are our allies and friends.
(There are parliamentary elections in both Iran and Syria and women have full voting rights. Something Saudi or Kuwaiti women can only dream about. And if we
are so concerned about freedom in the world, why didn't we invade Iraq when Saddam was murdering thousands of his people, but chose to invade it when
dictator was behaving in the most civilized manner over all the decades of his reign? And why we allegedly care so much about the Iraqi people but have no interest
in liberating our next door neighboor, Cuba? Yes, something really resonated in my heart and my mind, when I was
visiting the www.nationofhate.us . Not too advanced technically, this site really touches your heart (provided it's not
yet totally numb) with its dramatic backgrounds, stunnigly realistic graphics, dynamic html and animated gifs. See for yourself at
P.S. I really grieve for those who died, even more for those who will die in Iraq. Their mothers and fathers, too. What a waste!
